On this trip, you will explore the central coast of the state of São Paulo. We will be staying in the city of Santos (founded in 1546)—the largest city on the coast and, to this day, Brazil’s primary port. It features a rich historic center with buildings dating back as far as the 16th century. We will take a tram ride and visit the Coffee Museum, the Pelé Museum, the Orchid Garden, the Vila Belmiro stadium, and the Santos Football Club Museum. We will also discover various towns and parks along the coast and up on the plateau, such as the village of Paranapiacaba—built by and for the English employees of the São Paulo Railway—and the Caminhos do Mar Park, where we will see the first two paved roads connecting the plateau to the coast. Expect to encounter a wealth of history, culture, gastronomy, and nature. DAY 02: SANTOS CIYT TOUR 08:00am - Breakfast. 09:00am - Continuity of the Santos City Tour. 12:30pm - Lunch. 05:00pm - End of the tour DAY 03: FORMER BANANA FARMS. 08:00am – Breakfast. 09:00am – Using traditional boats known as "catraia," we will navigate through the mangroves and will meet two former banana farms that have been taken over by the Atlantic rainforest but still have ruins and traces of the colonial period, and beautiful waterfall. 05:00pm – Arrival in Hotel. Free Night. DAY 04: BERTIOGA CITY. 07:30am - Breakfast. 08:30am – Departure to Bertioga to visit Itatinga, a hydroelectric power plant built in 1910 to supply energy to the port of Santos. 10:00am – Start of the tour to the Itatinga village and power plant. 01:00pm - End of the tour to the Itatinga village and power plant. 01:30pm - Lunch. 02:30pm - Visit to the São João Fort and Museum 06:00pm – Arrival in Hotel. Free Night. DAY 05: PARANAPIACABA VILLAGE. 07:30am – Breakfast. 08:30am – Departure to the day trip. 10:00am - Ariive and city tour in Paranapiacaba. At the Brazilian Indians language Paranapiacaba means “The place we can see the sea”. The village was built as a point of support and housing for the workers of the São Paulo Railway, built in 1867 to transport of coffee from the plateau to the port of Santos. This was the last station before the descent of the sea range and beginning the funicular system. 06:00pm – End of the trip. 08:00pm – Arrival in Hotel. Free Night. DAY 06: OLD ROADWAY TO THE SEA. 07:30am – Breakfast. 08:30am – Departure to the day trip. 10:00am – For those who are willing we start the trip walk go donw the mountain range by the first paved road linking the plateau to the coastal plain. Along the same path we can pass through the first pavement paved by stones built for the passage of mules loaded with sugar at the end of VXIII century, the Lorena Sidewalk. 04:00pm - End of the trip. 06:00pm – Arrival in Hotel. Free Night. DAY 07: BEACH DAY 07:30am – Breakfast. 08:30am – Departure to Guarujá. 09:30am – Arrive in Itaguaíba Beach. 01:00pm - Lunch. 02:30pm – Return to the Hotel 04:00pm – Arrival in Hotel. DAY 08: SOUTH COAST TOUR 07:30am - Breakfast. 08:30am - Departure to Peruíbe city. 10:00am – In Peruíbe city we will meet the Juréia-Itatins Ecological Reserve, deserted beaches and waterfalls. 01:00pm – End of the trip. 01:30pm - Lunch. 03:30pm – We will visit the historical center in Itanhaém city. 06:00pm – Arrival in Hotel. DAY 09: SANTOS-SÃO PAULO SIGHTSEEING/GRU AIRPORT 07:00am - Breakfast. 08:00am - Departure to São Paulo city. 10:00am - Sightseeing and visit to São Paulo city museum. 01:00pm - Farewell lunch. 03:00pm - Sightseeing and GRU airport. 06:00pm - Expected drop in GRU airport. En este viaje, explorará la costa central del estado de São Paulo. Nos alojaremos en la ciudad de Santos (fundada en 1546), la mayor ciudad de la costa y, hasta el día de hoy, el principal puerto de Brasil. Cuenta con un rico centro histórico que alberga edificios que datan incluso del siglo XVI. Realizaremos un recorrido en tranvía y visitaremos el Museo del Café, el Museo de Pelé, el Orquidario, el estadio Vila Belmiro y el Museo del Santos Futebol Clube. También descubriremos diversas localidades y parques a lo largo de la costa y en la meseta, como el pueblo de Paranapiacaba —construido por y para los empleados ingleses del ferrocarril de São Paulo— y el Parque Caminhos do Mar, donde veremos las dos primeras carreteras pavimentadas que conectaban la meseta con la costa. Noche libre. DÍA 02: RECORRIDO SANTOS 08:00am - Desayuno. 09:00am - Continuación del . 12:30pm - Almuerzo 05:00pm - Fin del recorrido por la ciudad. DÍA 3: ANTIGUAS HACIENDAS DE PLÁTANO. 08:00am – Desayuno. 09:00am – Utilizando embarcaciones tradicionales llamadas "catraias", navegaremos a través de los manglares y visitaremos dos antiguas plantaciones de plátano que han sido invadidas por la selva atlántica, pero que aún conservan ruinas y vestigios de la época colonial, además de hermosas cascadas. 06:00pm – Llegada al hotel. DÍA 4: BERTIOGA 07:30am - Desayuno. 09:00am – Conoceremos la central hidroeléctrica de Itatinga, construida en 1910 para abastecer de energía eléctrica al puerto de Santos; después almorzaremos y, a continuación, visitaremos el Fuerte São João, el primer fuerte de Brasil, construido en 1560. Actualmente, alberga un museo sobre los «tupinambás», un pueblo originario que habitaba la región antes de la llegada de los portugueses. 06:00pm – Llegada al hotel. Noche libre. DÍA 5: PUEBLO DE PARANAPIACABA. 07:30am – Desayuno. 08:30am – Salida para la excursión. 10:30am – Llegada y recorrido por la ciudad de Paranapiacaba. En lengua indígena brasileña, Paranapiacaba significa “El lugar desde donde se ve el mar”. El pueblo se construyó como punto de apoyo y alojamiento para los trabajadores del Ferrocarril de São Paulo, construido en 1867 para el transporte de café desde la meseta hasta el puerto de Santos. Esta era la última estación antes del descenso de la sierra y del inicio del sistema funicular. 04:00pm – Fin de la excursión. 06:00pm – Llegada al hotel. Noche libre. DÍA 6: ANTIGUO CAMINO AL MAR. 07:30am – Desayuno. 08:30am – Salida para la excursión. 10:00am – Para quienes deseen caminar, comenzamos la caminata descendiendo por la sierra a lo largo del primer camino pavimentado que unía la meseta con la llanura costera. Por este mismo camino, podemos pasar por el primer pavimento de piedra construido para el paso de mulas cargadas de azúcar a finales del siglo XVIII: la Acera de Lorena. 04:00pm - Fin del viaje. 06:00pm - Llegada al hotel. DÍA 7: EXCURSIÓN POR LA COSTA SUR. 07:30am - Desayuno. 08:30am - Salida para la excursión. 10:00am - En Peruíbe, nos encontraremos con la Reserva Ecológica Juréia-Itatins, una playa desierta y cascadas. 01:00pm - Almuerzo. 02:00pm - Salida para ciudad de Itanhaém. 07:00pm - Llegada al hotel. Noche libre. DÍA 8: EXCURSIÓN POR LAS PLAYAS DE GUARUJÁ 07:30am – Desayuno. 08:30am – Salida hacia la playa de Itaguaíba en la ciudad de Guarujá 10:00am – Chegada en la playa de Itaguaíba. 01:00pm – Almuerzo. 02:30pm – Salida para Hotel 04:00pm – Llegada al hotel. Noche libre. DÍA 09: VISITA TURÍSTICA DE SÃO PAULO / AEROPUERTO DE GRU 07:00am – Desayuno. 08:30am - Salida para São Paulo. 10:00am - Visita turística y al Museo de la Ciudad de São Paulo. 01:00pm - Almuerzo de despedida. 03:00pm - Continuacion de la visita turística y traslado al aeropuerto GRU. 06:00pm - Llegada prevista al aeropuerto GRU.
