In this trip you will know the official oldest vilage in Brasil. After the discovery of Brasil, only 32 years later the Portuguese decided to build the first settlement, São Vicente. And then they went south to found the settlement of Cananéia, which was the limit of Portuguese territory according to the Treaty of Tordesilhas, signed in 1494, between Portugal and Spain. You will lodge in the city of Santos/SP, founded in 1546, with a rich historical downtown, with the most important port in Brasil since de colonial times and being the largest in South America today. Currently Santos is considered the best city in Brasil in quality of life, and security. From here we will see desert beach in outrigger canoes, hiking until waterfalls or paddling rivers in the Atlantic rainforest, and visit ruins of the colonial period and indigenous remnants of approximately 5.000 years, the “Sambaquis”. TIME LINE: DAY 01: ARRIVE GRU. 06:00am – Arrival in Guarulhos Airport/BRASIL. 09:00am – Departure for Santos. 11:00am – Expected Arrival in Santos and city tour start. 01:00pm – WELCOME LUNCH 03:00pm – City tour. 06:00pm – Arrival in Hotel. Free Night. DAY 02: FORMER BANANA FARM. 08:00am – Breakfast. 09:00am – We Will meet two former banana farms that have been taken over by the Atlantic rainforest but still have ruins and traces of the colonial period, and beautiful waterfalls. 05:00pm – Arrival in Hotel. Free Night. DAY 03: BERTIOGA and GUARUJÁ CITY. 08:00am – Breakfast. 09:00am – Through a typical boat of region, the “catraia”, we will visit the city of Bertioga, where the first fort in Brazil was built and enjoy the beauties of White beach, Black beach and Camburizinho beach. 05:00pm – Arrival in Hotel. Free Night. DAY 04: PARANAPIACABA VILLAGE. 07:30am – Breakfast. 08:30am – Departure to the day trip. 10:30am - Ariive and city tour in Paranapiacaba. At the Brazilian Indians language Paranapiacaba means “The place we can see the sea”. The village was built as a point of support and housing for the workers of the São Paulo Railway, built in 1867 to transport of coffee from the plateau to the port of Santos. This was the last station before the descent of the sea range and beginning the funicular system. 06:00pm – End of the trip. 08:00pm – Arrival in Hotel. Free Night. DAY 05: OLD ROADWAY TO THE SEA. 07:30am – Breakfast. 08:30am – Departure to the day trip. 10:00am – For those who are willing we start the trip walk go donw the mountain range by the first paved road linking the plateau to the coastal plain. Along the same path we can pass through the first pavement paved by stones built for the passage of mules loaded with sugar at the end of VXIII century, the Lorena Sidewalk. 04:00pm - End of the trip. 06:00pm – Arrival in Hotel. DAY 06: SOUTH COAST TOUR. 07:30am – Breakfast. 08:30am – Departure to the day trip. 09:00am – Walk through the Fortress of Itaipu (1902) in Praia Grande city. 11:00am – In Peruíbe city we will meet the Juréia-Itatins Ecological Reserve, desert beach and waterfalls. 04:00pm – End of the trip. 05:30pm – We will meet the Pier in the city of Mongaguá. 08:00pm – Arrival in Hotel. Free Night. DAY 07: NORTH COAST TOUR. 07:30am – Breakfast. 08:30am – Departure to the day trip. Today we will visit the beach in the north coast, the cities of São Sebastião and Ilhabela. 07:30pm – Arrival in Ilhabela.Free Night. DAY 08: ILHABELA 09:00am – Breakfast and free day. Optional: Jeep 4WD tour or Boat tour. DAY 09: ILHABELA / GRU 09:00am – Breakfast and free morning. 12:30pm – Lunch. 02:00pm - Leaving Ilhabela to São Paulo city, dinner and check-in. DAY 10: SÃO PAULO SIGHTSEEING/GRU AIRPORT 08:00 am - Breakfast. 09:00 am - Sightseeing and visit to São Paulo city museum. 01:00 pm - Farewell lunch. 03:00 pm - Sightseeing and GRU airport. 06:00 pm - Expected drop in GRU airport. En este viaje conocerás el pueblo más antiguo de Brasil. Tras el descubrimiento de Brasil, tan solo 32 años después, los portugueses decidieron fundar el primer asentamiento, São Vicente. Posteriormente, se dirigieron al sur para fundar Cananéia, que marcaba el límite del territorio portugués según el Tratado de Tordesilhas, firmado en 1494 entre Portugal y España. Te alojarás en la ciudad de Santos (SP), fundada en 1546, con un rico centro histórico y el puerto más importante de Brasil desde la época colonial, siendo actualmente el más grande de Sudamérica. Santos es considerada la mejor ciudad de Brasil en cuanto a calidad de vida y seguridad. Desde aquí, podrás recorrer playas desérticas en canoas tradicionales, hacer senderismo hasta cascadas o remar por los ríos de la selva atlántica, y visitar ruinas de la época colonial y vestigios indígenas de aproximadamente 5000 años de antigüedad, los sambaquis. DÍA 2: ANTIGUAS PLANTACIONES DE PLÁTANO. 08:00 h – Desayuno. 09:00 h – Visitaremos dos antiguas plantaciones de plátano que han sido invadidas por la selva atlántica, pero que aún conservan ruinas y vestigios de la época colonial, además de hermosas cascadas. 17:00 h – Llegada al hotel. Noche libre. DÍA 3: BERTIOGA Y CIUDAD DE GUARUJÁ. 08:00 h – Desayuno. 09:00 h – A bordo de una embarcación típica de la región, la “catraia”, visitaremos la ciudad de Bertioga, donde se construyó el primer fuerte de Brasil, y disfrutaremos de las playas de White Beach, Black Beach y Camburizinho. 05:00 h – Llegada al hotel. Noche libre. DÍA 4: PUEBLO DE PARANAPIACABA. 07:30 h – Desayuno. 08:30 h – Salida para la excursión. 10:30 h – Llegada y recorrido por la ciudad de Paranapiacaba. En lengua indígena brasileña, Paranapiacaba significa “El lugar desde donde se ve el mar”. El pueblo se construyó como punto de apoyo y alojamiento para los trabajadores del Ferrocarril de São Paulo, construido en 1867 para el transporte de café desde la meseta hasta el puerto de Santos. Esta era la última estación antes del descenso de la sierra y del inicio del sistema funicular. 18:00 h – Fin de la excursión. 20:00 h – Llegada al hotel. Noche libre. DÍA 5: ANTIGUO CAMINO AL MAR. 07:30 h – Desayuno. 08:30 h – Salida para la excursión. 10:00 h – Para quienes deseen caminar, comenzamos la caminata descendiendo por la sierra a lo largo del primer camino pavimentado que unía la meseta con la llanura costera. Por este mismo camino, podemos pasar por el primer pavimento de piedra construido para el paso de mulas cargadas de azúcar a finales del siglo XVIII: la Acera de Lorena. 16:00 - Fin del viaje. 18:00 - Llegada al hotel. DÍA 6: EXCURSIÓN POR LA COSTA SUR. 07:30 - Desayuno. 08:30 - Salida para la excursión. 09:00 - Recorrido por la Fortaleza de Itaipú (1902) en Praia Grande. 11:00 - En Peruíbe, nos encontraremos con la Reserva Ecológica Juréia-Itatins, una playa desierta y cascadas. 16:00 - Fin del viaje. 17:30 - Nos encontraremos en el muelle de Mongaguá. 20:00 - Llegada al hotel. Noche libre. DÍA 7: EXCURSIÓN POR LA COSTA NORTE. 07:30 h – Desayuno. 08:30 h – Salida para la excursión. Hoy visitaremos la playa en la costa norte y las ciudades de São Sebastião e Ilhabela. DÍA 8: ILHABELA 07:30 h – Llegada a Ilhabela. 09:00 h – Desayuno y día libre. Opcional: Excursión en jeep 4x4 o paseo en barco. DÍA 9: ILHABELA / GRU 09:00 h – Desayuno y mañana libre. 12:30 h – Almuerzo. 02:00 h – Salida de Ilhabela hacia São Paulo, cena y registro en el hotel. DÍA 10: VISITA TURÍSTICA DE SÃO PAULO / AEROPUERTO DE GRU 08:00 h – Desayuno. 09:00 - Visita turística y al Museo de la Ciudad de São Paulo. 13:00 - Almuerzo de despedida. 15:00 - Visita turística y traslado al aeropuerto GRU. 18:00 - Llegada prevista al aeropuerto GRU.
